The Third IT Thematic Training for Disabled Persons was inviting organizations to apply
for sponsorship from the HK Government, Social
Welfare Department, Rehabilitation & Medical Social Service Branch. This
program covers the following target groups: physically handicapped, ex-mental
ill patients, hearing disabled, visual impairment, & long term illness. Deadline
for application is 31/08/2002.

The Fujifilm and Olympus had jointly developed a new flash memory
card, the " XD - Picture Card (eXtreme Digitial) to replace their existing product
the SM Card (Smart Media). The XD card had a highest capacity up to 8 GB comparing
to that of the SM Card which only had 128 MB max. capacity.
